These privacy notices apply to the KUDLA LEGAL website at kudla.legal, its inquiry form and the redirect from kudla.law.

Visiting this website

To deliver and secure the website, technical data such as your IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system, response status and data volume are processed. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website.

Technical data are retained only for as long as necessary to operate the service, investigate faults or prevent misuse, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Cookies, sessions and language preference

The website uses a session cookie and a CSRF security token to maintain the session, protect forms and retain entries temporarily following validation errors. Session duration is normally 120 minutes of inactivity. The cookie kudla_website_locale remembers your selected language for up to one year. You can delete cookies or restrict their storage in your browser; this may affect forms and language selection.

These functions serve the provision of the requested website and language setting. The basis for necessary storage or access on your device is section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; subsequent personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website does not integrate advertising or analytics tracking. Fonts are served locally.

Inquiries and contact

When you submit an inquiry, we process your firm name, country, contact name and email address, as well as any optional website, preferred language, services, expected filing volume and message you provide. We store the inquiry in our database and send an internal email notification so that we can respond and arrange the next steps. Submission does not automatically create a portal account or instruct a filing.

For inquiries relating to a contract or pre-contractual measures, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The same applies to contact by email, telephone or fax. Providing the requested contact information is necessary to process the form; optional information is voluntary.

We also process a submission identifier and processing timestamps to avoid duplicate submissions and support delivery. For protection against repeated requests, a hashed IP address is used in a request counter with a ten-minute expiry. Session data can temporarily contain form entries after an error.

We retain inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and comply with applicable statutory retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Thereafter, the data are deleted. Failed notification attempts may be stored for troubleshooting and retrying delivery.

Recipients and service providers

Access is limited to persons who need the data to handle your inquiry or operate the service. Hosting and email service providers may process data on our behalf under applicable data-protection arrangements. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15–20 GDPR. You may contact us using the details above. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect.

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then stop processing unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests, rights and freedoms, or processing is necessary for legal claims.
